Elections are (mostly) over

“Mostly” is the operative word. Still, the end of another long, bitterly contested season of electioneering means no more campaign phone calls, and less garbage filling our mailbox.

Incredible weather

Even though I’m stuck at home with an annoying cold bug, I’ve got the windows open. 70+ degrees in November seems a bit remarkable for Minnesota. I guess a little global-warming might not be so horrible.

Holidays around the corner

Yes, the holidays are coming. I know the thought might make some people queasy, but I tend to get a childlike thrill from the whole ordeal. The feeling has only intensified now that I get to share it with an easily excited 3-year old.
