Despite having plenty of time to relax this Thanksgiving, I only managed to snap one roll of film with the Argus. This year we visited Grandpa and Grandma K. at their lakeside home in the wilds of northern Minnesota. The weather was unseasonably warm, and our arrival was met with lots of sunshine and some beautiful scenery.

This isn’t much, but it’s heartfelt. To our families, our friends, our colleagues, thanks for everything you have done, and will do. To the good people around the world that make a difference simply because they’re not afraid to volunteer their time, or to make someone smile, we thank you as well.

Have a happy, safe, and delicious Thanksgiving.

New design, same old family

We say “buh-bye” to October and usher in a fresh, rather chilly November. The end of October also means the end of the pink-a-rific Upnorth.org. Instead of lamely hightailing it back to the original design, I decided I’d waste an otherwise completely good day redesigning the whole shebang. If you like it, great. If not, I’ll be happy to introduce my boot to your behind.

You may have noticed that I’m sort of sleepy, and outside of seeing double-everything, I’m also a bit surly. Enjoy it while it lasts.
