We had a great time visiting the Renaissance Festival! (lots of pictures, so give this time to load)
We arrived early in the morning, and there was already a crowd! Gilbert did not know what to think about all of the loud people in their Medieval garb. He quickly got used to all of the commotion, and soon wanted out of the stroller so he could run around…he had, afterall, been promised a SWORD by his dear father, and there was little we could do to put this notion out of his head until he found a store with Gilbert-sized tools of destruction. Fortunately, he has been really good. He knows that he needs to be “responsible” with his sword, and that swords are for fighting dragons, not hitting people (or big-screen televisions).
I know there are a lot of pictures, hope you enjoy them!
Gilbert and his sword!

Gilbert meeting Mother Goose, her goose was quite a bit friendlier than her cousins in Pierre!

Okay, so corn isn’t historically accurate….but it is yummy!

Gilbert loved the petting zoo!

Gilbert’s favorites were the camel and elephant rides. We rode on Chrissy the elephant and Sahara the camel. Chrissy even gave Gibby a kiss! What a ladies man!

I enjoyed the new additions to your website. It seems like quite a while since I have visited it. I hope you and Gib enjoy the “cousin” picture book I put together for him. They all played so well together. I miss them already (except for the constant playing of “The Magic School Bus”)
