Happy Halloween 2005
November 1, 2005
We had a very fun and spooky Halloween!
Halloween just happened to be Gilbert’s first day of daycare. That was spooky for us, not for him. According to his teachers he had a great first day and only cried a little after his nap…which isn’t unusual for him; he sometimes needs a little extra time to wake up.
Halloween night was really fun for all of us. Gilbert dressed up as a lumberjack. We thought of painting Kitty blue to be Babe the blue ox, but she wasn’t quite up for that level of excitement!
We went trick-or-treating to a few houses, but Gilbert really liked helping hand out the candy. As soon as the trick-or-treaters would leave, he’d be asking for “Mo’ ‘ween!” (That’s “More Halloween” for those of you who don’t speak toddler.)

Gibby Bunyan loved his lollipop

Our landlady really had great decorations which Gilbert loved!

What a handsome little luberjack! I'm glad Gilbert had such a great Halloween. It gets more fun every year.

Gibby is the best looking lumberjack I have ever seen!

I am going to buy him an ax (plastic of course)! His great grandfather was a lumberjack and I know he would be proud.

Isn't this what all the kids in Minnesota look like? It's good to see he's fitting in well! Just kidding! Hope you guys are doing well.
