Gilbert Turns Two

The time has flown by and already Gilbert has turned two…
Gilbert had his two-year well child exam on Friday, and he is doing very well. He has recovered from his bout of tonsillitis and was feeling well enough to raise a ruckus in the examining room!
We spent the weekend at Aunt Cindy’s lake place. Lots of family came down to help us celebrate Gilbert’s big day. Cindy & Jay’s lake house is so nice….we had a great time visiting, playing in the pool and enjoying the big screen T.V. It was so nice to see everyone, but of course the time went by too quickly!
Gilbert’s birthday cake. He liked blowing out the candles so much that we had to re-light them several times. It was good cake…thanks Grandma K!

We're glad to hear that Gilbert had a fun second birthday. He sure is a handsome little guy!

I knew he would love the candles after he had his nap! He will need his new teeth to take on that big cob of corn. See you this weekend!
