Happy Labor Day!

Gilbert has been under the weather, but we still had a fun weekend.
Gilbert has had tonsillitis and is getting in his two-year molars, so he hasn’t been feeling well all week. This is the first time he has ever had to take a prescription, and he was not happy about it the first few days. Yogurt smoothies have made him (and us) quite happy; we mix one up with the penicillin in it and he cannot tell that he is getting his medicine at all.
We went to the park on Saturday morning and he had a lot of fun playing with the dinosaur Grandpa Dennis got him when he came to visit. The dinosaur is his new best buddy. He even wants to sleep with it….doesn’t seem very cuddly to me! But what do I know!?!

HI, I am so sorry to hear Gilbert has been sick. Hopefully he is all better for his birthday!!! I am glad the yogurt smoothies did the trick! Take care, Love, Lisa

Poor little guy. It's no fun being sick when you're little. I hope he's feeling better in time for his birthday. I really like that dinosaur! What a big boy Gilbert is growing up to be. Hugs and kisses. :wassat:

He is really growing up. I loved seeing him this weekend. Thank you and Jerry for taking the time to drive all of the way to Lake Lizzie! I wish I could have had him all to myself. He is such a fun little boy.
