A Weekend to Celebrate

We had two reasons to celebrate last weekend; it was Jerry’s birthday and Mother’s Day.
Jerry’s sisters Anita and Cindy surprised him with a visit, showing up on our doorstep Friday night. We had a nice time visiting and catching up. Of course their visit went by too quickly, and they were on their way home Saturday afternoon to enjoy Mother’s Day with their families.
Sunday was a relaxing Mother’s Day for me. We went to Capitol Lake to feed the ducks, which is Gilbert’s favorite activity on a beautiful day. My boys then treated me to dinner out…and they were both very well-behaved! Then it was back home to enjoy time outside playing.
All-in-all, it was a great weekend!

What a handsome little guy! He's growing up so fast! I absolutely love the pictures… the picture of you two with the dandelion is award-winning. Get that one blown up and framed my dear! Miss you and love you, Casey

I loved the dandelion picture too. I am ordering a copy for myself. Thanks for sending the snapfish link. It was so much fun looking through all of the great photos. I will be adding many to my collection. Love you all.
