Gilbert has been taking swimming lessons, and he is turning into quite the little swimmer!

Of course, he was nervous at first, but it seems that every week builds his confidence. He doesn’t swim on his own, but he can kick his legs and he even puts his head under the water. This past weekend we stayed at a hotel with a pool and a waterslide. Gilbert LOVED swimming and especially enjoyed the slides. As soon as he was down the slide he was hopping out the pool (without Mom’s help, thank you very much!) and running up the ramp to go down again. If only I had a little bit of that energy!
