An early Christmas
December 20, 2004
Grandma and Grandpa Keenan came down this weekend, and we celebrated Christmas!
We had a terrific visit! Grandma and Grandpa brought along pie (oh, why didn’t I inherit any pie-making ability from my mother?) and a free-range turkey from their local Hutterite colony. We roasted the turkey on Saturday and enjoyed a great Christmas meal.
After eating, Grandma, Gib and I went to check out the Christmas tree display at the capitol. As usual, it was beautiful, and I enjoyed sharing it with Mom, who had never seen it before.
After seeing the trees, we came home and ate our dessert (we finally had the space for it!) and opened our Christmas gifts.

How jealous am I!? It sounds like you had a great visit. I wish we could have shared it with you…the pictures will have to do. Love you all.

I really want to go to the Capital again next year! The trees really are spectacular.
