Kent Hrbek!

For those of you that have heard any of my baseball stories—many of which have undergone some embellishment over the years—you may know that my favorite player was the mighty first baseman for the Minnesota Twins… Kent Hrbek.
Now, I have never gone out of my way to meet anyone famous, but having Mr. Hrbek a few measly yards away seemed to bring me back to my youth. I felt compelled to talk to him, and finally mustered the courage. In all honesty, he seemed like a very genuine, fun-loving guy.
This will be a nice picture for you to share with Gib. Maybe one of Jim Kleinsauser would be nice. I think I heard he was out for the season.

It's a thrill to rub elbows with the famous, eh? Even nicer that he's a nice guy! I agree with Miki … this will be a great picture to share with Gilbert when he becomes a sports fan. :laughing:
