We got a lot of yard work done last weekend…actually Jerry got a lot done, Gilbert and I were just moral support!

On Saturday Jerry cleaned out the gutters, raked and mowed the lawn. Sunday we just relaxed, I played Scrabble with my friend Lisa and had an appointment with a landscaper about getting a few projects taken care of. Of course we would like to do it all ourselves, but it cannot hurt to get an estimate and then decide if it is worth it to hire someone for some tasks. We will have plenty of DIY projects to keep us busy no matter what! My goal is to have the yard and house exterior in good shape by Labor Day weekend so that we can have a nice outdoor birthday party for Gilbert.
