I hope that you all had a very merry Christmas!

We enjoyed our first Christmas with Gib. He had a cold which dampened his spirits a bit, but we still had fun.

We opened presents Christmas Eve. Gilbert got some very neat stuff; thanks everyone! Daddy read him “The Night before Christmas,” and he fell asleep right on cue…”Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!”

For Christmas day we went over to our neighbor’s house. Thad and Barb were great hosts. We ate too much, of course, but Christmas is only once a year!

Gilbert is still fighting his cold today, poor little guy. I took him to the clinic this morning, and he weighed in at sixteen pounds. He is getting bigger everyday!

Jerry and I had more reasons than ever to be grateful holiday season, Gilbert first and foremost, as well as our family and friends. Though most of you are far away, you remain close in our thoughts and prayers.
